Shotgun seized

TWO MEN arrested on Thursday morning at the
Chevron gas station at 1613 Marine Dr. in West
Vancouver allegedly possessed a loaded sawed-off shot-
gun.

The gun was found behind the driver’s seat loaded
with five rounds of ammunition, according to a West
Vancouver Police spokesman.

Charges were pending. No names were released. -

Car sought

THE NORTH Vancouver RCMP are requesting witness
information concerning a red older-model Honda Civic
which was reportedly involved in a hit-and-run crash on
Oct. 15 ia the 2006-block of Westview Drive.

The Honda hit a parked green truck, sustaining exten-
sive damage to the car’s right side, say police. The Honda
was previously speeding on the Trans-Canada Highway
and the Mount Seymour Parkway ares. Call 985-1311.
