B.C. AMBULANCE Service paramedics recently used a
new piece Gf equipment lo save the lives of two North
Shore residents, |:

Ambulance Service, said a woman in her 70s suffered a
cardiue arrest on Oct. 25 at the federal clection voting
station at Highlands elementary schoot in North Van-
couver, ‘

Jones said CPR was adiministered to the woman by
North Vancouver District Firefighters.

Ambujance paramedics Curtis Millar and Mike Pascoe
arrived a short time fater and used an automatic external
defibrilator. to. administer electric shocks to the patient,
