North Van players open
season with Comedians

In the club, the comedy instruc-
tor and an adjudicator -— both
comedians who were once at odds
with each other on the same circuit
— engage in ia rivalry that) cen-

their respective acts.

Echoing a true-to-life scene, the
language in the play is not by any
means the Queen’s English, and
the group cautions patrons to keep
this in mind.

Davenport said.

Comedians starts Sept. 18 and
runs to Oct. 3, being performed
Wednesday through Saturday at
Hendry Hall in North Vancouver.
