Chopper brought in
to help rescuers

NORTH Shore Rescue per-
sonnel turned their skills on
their own kind last Tuesday.

Ten members of the local
team assisted the Chilliwack
Rescue team in its efiorts to
locate a 40-year-old = man
reported missing on Mt.
Slesse. Rescuers found the

man’s body, but subsequently
found themselves stranded in
a steep gorge. The Chilliwack
team once again turned to its
North Shore counterparts for
help. This time NSRT utilized
its helicopter flight rescue
skills.
