From dancing, painting, stamp collecting, and jimes; to lee-
tures, language classes and woodworking, ‘this is the place tar be.
The annual membership costs just $16 and the centre is open
year round except tor nwo weeks in August. Currentty there are
about 4,000 members who have the option of visting fram Y
a.m, to $:30 p.m. Monday through Wedaceday; 9 am. to 4:30
p.m. Thursd: . am. Saturday; and Tt
a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. The staff is triendly and helpia!and th
are ways lots of volunteers on hand to offer assistance. 7
centre also has a garden terrace to contemplate in and a
ria — open to all, with no age restrictions —— which serves deli-
cious tare. This edition of Bright Lights focuses on the essence
of activity and camaraderie at the centre.
