DEEP COVE LIFEBOAT
September 28
17, Deep Cove Yacht Club
The lifeboat was tasked by
Rescue Coordination Centre
Victoria to a vessel sinking in

her berth at the Deep Cove
Yacht Club. The lifeboat, on
exercise at Belcarra Park at the
time, responded in eight min-
utes and after securing lines to
the sinking 22-foot runabout,
managed to de-water the ves-
sel and re-float it with the
lifeboat's pump and one from

the Fire Dept., who
responded to the incideng
