THE following is a selection of volun-
teer opportunities available through
North Shore Community Services
(NSCS).

A leader is needed fora group of senior
hand-bel! ringers, Practises are held ‘Tuesday
afternoons between | and 3 p.m,

A gift and card sales clerk is required as
part of the sales foree during UNICEF malt
and library events. Duties include managing

cash and credit card sales and customer service.

A victim support worker is needed to pro-
vide assistance, information and emotional
support to victims/witnesses. Duties may also

include court preparation and accompaniment.

Outdoor work habitat restoration work-
ers are needed to help restore and preserve
habitats for the various species of birds and ani-
mals that five in a conservation area. ‘This is
outdoor work and is performed weather per-
mitting.

T-shirt sales volunteers are needed for the
Coho Festival (Aug. 23 to Sept, 8) to run the
tshirt kiosk at Park Royal South. Duties
include setting up a t-shirt display and selling,
festival t-shirts, Various shifts available.
