The Norwest club is for men age 60 and over and has grown to become an institution “on the North Shore. To repair certain sections of the trail, Grouse Mountain is closing the Grouse Grind trail berween the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m, on the following days: Saturday, Sept. 28; Friday, Oct. 4; Saturday, Oct. 5; Saturday, Oct. 12; and Friday, Oct. 18. Most of the reconstruction work will take place on the upper, steep sections of the Grind trail. Trail closure notices will be posted on days the Grind will be closed for public use. The closures, however, do not mean the mountain is closed to hikers.
