West Vancouver Junior squad won its V&D championship Thursday, defeating J.N. Burnett of New Westminster two games to one (15-5, 16-18, 15-4) in the final. The Spartans easily out- distanced the opposition at the Vancouver and District championship held last Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The opposition included Hillside” “and “Handsworth, ~ which still managed to hold down the silver and bronze in the senior division, mak~ ing it a North Shore sweep. Handsworth’s junior squad also managed a third in junior play. Sentinel, as champion, and Hillside as North shore runner-up both qualify for the provincial champion- ships.
