New composting toilets transform waste into humus through a natural decomposition process,’’ said Charbonneau. Humus is the organic constitu- -ent of soil. _. Project work will include the construction of a washroom facil- ity, and the installation of com- posting toilets, new curbs, side- walks and litter bin pads, retaining wails and fencing as well as site: excavation and grading.
