munity Services celebrate

North Shore Community Services recently beld an office party
in honor of its first-year anniversary at its Capilano Malt loca-
tion. Staff, volunicers and visitors participated in the celebra-
tion, which included a cake- cutting ceremony, brief speech ses-
sion, bubbly conversation and lors of smiles. NSCS president
Gaire MacLean extended special thanks to mall manager Rick
Warren. Capilano Mall provides NSCS with free storefront
space for its volunteer centre, which offers a wide range of com-
munity information and volunteer services, and is home to the
senior’s one-stop information line (983-3303).
