For Behrooz Alavi, 37, working with metal represents work that’, been a family trade. He started out working with metal alongside his tather as a youth. Then upon coming to Canada he started up a commercial glass company which took him away from his native craft. “Then I started tuming back to imy reots, working with iron,” said Alavi. While his new venture wasn’t exactly an instant success, Alavi feels the business is progressing smooth-. ly.
