Plant suspect nabbed THE WEST Vancouver Police are crediting an alert citi- zen with helping in the capture of a suspected plant thief. -A police spokesman said the police received a tele- phone call at 1 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 6, from a citizen who had noticed a male removing plants from a Florist shop in the 1806-block of Marine Drive. | The police subsequently arrested a 20-year-old West Vancouver man. . “Police rely on citizens to alert them to in-progress crimes and appreciate the efforts of all who call in,"' said West Vancouver Police Const.
