Tweens crush Aidergrove

B.C, PROVINCIAL “‘A”’ Ringette
Championships hekd recently at the
Port Coquitlam Ice Arena saw
four teams from the North West
Vancouver Ringette Association
competing in three divisions.

The Tween “A” (age 12-13)
Hawks came away with a victory
over Aldergrove and a 44 tic with
the Nerth Shore Winter Ctab. In
the Deb Division (over 15),
NWVRA had two teams entered

but the Selects came out on top in
their game against the Destroyers.
The Belle ‘‘A’’ (age 16-17)
Cruisers played strongly all
weekend, hoping to capture the
Belle “A” Provincial Champion-
ship Paul Stephenson Memorial
Trophy. Posting wins of 114
against arch rivals NSWC and 9-5
against league champs Port Co-
quitiam in round robin play, the
Cruisers met PoCo again in the
final and won by a convincing 8-4
