Two new classes offered this spring, Take a Walk on the Wild Side and Stride and Stretch are designed to keep participants fit and trim, while introducing them to some of the nicest walking areas in the Eagle Harbour area. STRIDE, STRETCH Stride and Stretch is a new com- bination fitness class and aerobic walking program for all ages and athletic abilities. Classes start with a short warm-up to music, follow- ed by cnergetic striding sessions throughout the scenic trails of the Eagle Harbour area. Depending on the group’s destination there is often time to observe wildlife, watch birds, pick wild berries and smell the flowers. The group mects at Eagle Har- bour Community Centre, then carpools if necessary to some of the more out of the way trails. The class is held Saturdays from 9 to 1} a.m., and may sometimes include a brunch afterwards.
