The-32 year-old native of Sidney, Australia, who won his. first world champion- ships in 1983, racked up 9,685 points in the Pylon Slalom and Opes Window portions of the champion- ships on his way to victory. Dawson Creek’s Randy Haney, 23, swooped into se- cond place 34 points behind Moyes, while another Australian, Rick Duncan, captured third position with a 5,505 total.
