A MAN DIED when a
fire gutted his home at
4011 Capilano Park
Road in North Van-
couver early Monday
morning.

North Vancouver District
Fire Department received an
alarm call at 1:03 a.m. after
a woman living at the house
had alerted her neighbors.

Firefighters found the
main floor of the home was
fully engulfed in
when they arrived there.
They were uncertain
whether the woman's
husband, Frederick Hill, had
