THE PRESIDENT of the B.C. Medical Association said the recently-released B.C. royal commission report on health care is biased against doctors. Dr. Gur Singh last week blamed the bias on one of the report’s commis- sioners, UBC health economist Robert Evans. Evans is known to favor controlling health-care costs by limiting the number of doctors practising medicine in the system. Anna Marie D’Angelo 7 oo4 INQUIRING REPORTER The commission’s report recommended control over the number of doctors and a cap on annual doctors’ salaries.
