pornography and gambling company Starnet
Communications.

Police raided the houses of
six Starnet directors, of and associates including Lelek's, before dawn

gathering evidence

The raids are part of Project Enigma, an 18-month probe into alleged
illegal gambling, distribution of pornography and money jaundering via
the Interner.

ing, betting and gambling documents and equipment; accounting, bank-
ing, business and corporate records; computer records and equipment,
computerized images of obscene pictures and child pornography.

Lelek was named in the document as one of 15 people under investi-
gation. Company director Wolf Bergelt is also on the list. He has a house
in West Vancouver, His son Tony Bergelt told the News Wolf Bergelt now
lives in Antigua. Starnet’s Softee subsidiary is based on the Caribbean
island.

No charges heve been laid against anyone named in the search warrant
information. The police investigation continu
