Not only will the West Vancouver cricket player get to visit such hallowed cricket sites as Trent Bridge, Headingley and Lord’s Cricket Ground, but as a member of Canada’s under-15 team, Mits will be playing on them. The Grade Nine Balmoral stu- dent is one of three B.C. boys to have been selected to represent Canada at the Lombard World Challenge Tournament in England i in August. Mits has been playing cricket since he was eight, the year he joined the North Shore Juniors, and has risen through the ranks to become one of the best players his age in the province.
