TWO NORTH Vancouver teens face several charges fol-
lowing the beating of a woman duriag a break-in to her
British Properties home Oct. £7.

The victim returned home at about 10 a.m. to find the
teens, age [5 and 16, in her bedroom. She was pushed to
the Noor and sustained cuts and abrasions to her head and
injury to her arm.

The West Vancouver Police caught the suspects near
‘Taylor Way and the Upper Levels Highway. ‘The two face
charges of assault, robbery and break and enter,

The woman was treated for her injuries at Lions Gate
Hospital and was released.

Teen daughter approached twice

September, once in London Drugs
on Lonsdale Avenue and. several
weeks later at Lonsdale Quay.

“He was walking around the
Quay talking to kids and my
daughter mouthed him off" said
Cochran.

“Then he asked another girl and
she was going to go (with him)
until my kids stopped her,” said
Cochran, who described her girls
as frightened,

The man, whose name the
RCMP are not releasing, has
approached women from age 15 to
29.

He hands them a business card
and then shows them what he says
is a portfolio of his photographic
work, according to the North

Vancouver ROMP spokesman.

“At this point, no one has come
to us saying he has been violent or
forced them to do anything. He
hasn't broken any laws,” said
Const. Catherine Galliford. Police
have no information to support the

parks.
Gulliford said that police inves-
tigated a coniplaint from a person
in West Vancouver who overheard a
conversation‘and saw a girl get into
the man’s car after she accepted his
photographer's pitch. Galliford
said police went to the man’s North
Vancouver ‘residence, but the girl
declined police assistance.
