Line at 983- 3303 is. locaied at the offices of J gE nes Noith Shore Conumunity Services and is open, weekdays from 9 aan, to 32 pm, The following services are “available to seniors on the North Shore: « the Seniors’ Hub: (988-1129) \ arringes volunteer drivers, a tele- friend service and monthly social programs for isolated seniors. “* North Shore Keep Well (987- 8138) provides a weekly progran for older adults to help themselves and each other keep well. Programs are’ held at five North Shore locations and focus on nutrition counselling, medication. awareness and . healthy exercise. ©. * North: Shore Home Support Services Society. (984-9511) pro- ‘vides adult day care, meal programs, honiemaking, live-in help and nursing. Their North Shore Diners club operates a meal program at six locations at a” cost of $5 per meal.
