AWARD-WINNING
choreographer Judith Marcuse will
be dancing for the first time this
year.

Ata special concert Marcuse will
appear in a duet that she
choreographed, Sephardic Song,
danced to the sound of 14th cen-
tury Spanish-Jewish music.

Critics have praised Marcuse,
artistic director of Vancouver's
Judith Marcuse Dance Company,
for her inventive imagery and the
emotional drama of her work.

Marcuse has previously danced
with the Israel Ballet. She and her
dance company are currently on a
six-week tour of Northern B.C.,
and will be performing at the Jew-
ish Community Centre in Van-
couver on Nov. 26.
