play in a Canadian mini-series and
a story of a feud between a father
aud a son, is running at Pres-
entation House to Dec. 12.

Written by David French, Of the
Fields Lately is the third play in his
family trilogy, which also includes
Leaving Home and Saltwater

Moon, and explores the expecta-
tions, lost hopes, hardships and
delights of one Canadian family.

best play we’ve had all season,’’
said Andrea Thompson, Pres-
entation House publicist. ‘‘It has a
lot of intense feeling.”’
