~ Has MLA got things ! Dear Editor: / Ina letter published March 30, M. Lepper congratulates MLA Angus Ree for “taking a\ firm stand in support of, the Lonsdale ” Avenue overpass. Firm stand? Mr. Ree recently said he wouldconsider resigning if construction of the overpass was not included in the budget; ‘the op- erative word being ‘‘consider.’’ When it appeared the overpass "was not likely to be included in the highway expenditures, Mr. Ree obviously didn't spend much time considering ‘resignation; he an-.’ nounced instead that;he weuld keep his seat and continue working to have the project financed some: time in the future. Now;-in a-report to his constitu- ents, he asks.them to Jaunch a mail campaign to Highways’ Minister Rogers. In other words, he’s ask- ing his constituents .to represent him!
