The concert is Friday, Dec. 17 at7:30 p.m. Featuring the North Shore Celtic Ensemble and th Vancouver Children’s Choir, the concert will attempt so awaken holiday spirits of every heritage. Led by founder Rupert Lang, the Vancouver Children’s Choir is celebrating its léth anniversary this year. ‘To broaden their international sense, the choir is encouraged to sing in many different fan- guages, including Latin, French, German, Polish, Italian, Finnish, Japanese and Welsh. The choir recently won second place at the interna- tional Eisteddfod in Llangollen, Wales. Organist and director of music at Christ Church Cathedral, Lang is also a composer who has writ- ten innovative music for the cathedral and — children’s choirs.
