The Dundarave Block, 1601 Lonsdale (built in 1912) was not so fortunate, Fondly remembered as Chew Brother’s grocery, it was demolished earlier this year. The Masonic Temple is now the last remaining heritage structure on this part of Lonsdale. it is located in the !100 block of Lonsdale Ave., north of Victoria Park and across the street from the Nerth Shore News. It was designed in 1910 by archi- tect J.L. Pritchard and retains much the same appearance.
