It was nota fac- tor. Through the late “70s and early ‘80s people like me and Fred Penner, we helped to expand the children’s recording section in record stores. “What I've noticed recently is that the popularity of video has almost taken over the field, It used to be that you came out with an audio recording and you thought about doing a video. Now the reverse is almost happening and I think that’s a share. Audio gives children an inner experience of imagery that they can’t have with video.” Music Now: You’ve brought a lot of joy to kids over the years. What have you gained from them? Raffi: “They have honored me with their trust and they've accepted me as a friend.
