disaster drilis during Emergency Preparedness Week. The drills, complete with disaster sound
effecis over the public-address system, were coordinated by the North %’ancouver District Fire

the school on Saturday, May ! at
6:30 p.m.

The school is holding the event
in an effort to raise enough funds
for the purchase of a school bus
and computers. The auction will
also benefit special needs children.

Among the items being auction-
ed off are an $800 Swiss Jean Per-
ret watch with eight diamonds in
white metal,
chest, a 20- to 30-minute
helicopter ride over Vancouver
valued at $300 and a $150 bottle
of Grand Cru Classe
