Restaurants remain open after Market Hours

SEPT. } marked a turning point in the bettie against the
blue haze that sometimes hangs over the Lower
Mairland, transforming ocr world-renowned landscape
into something that resembles the skyline in the
futuristic sci-fi pic Blade Runner. The AirCare program

that has been implemented in the Lower Mainland calls
for car and light-truck owners to fave their vehicles
tested once a year as a condition of renewing their vehi-
cles’ insurance to reduce emissions of harmful carbon
monoxide, hydrocarbons, and nitrogen oxide.
