OUTGOING friendly people who are interested in hair styling are wanted to escort residents and patients of a private hospital to the in-house hairdresser. The vol- unteer will work from 9 a.m. to noon on Wednesdays for four months. Training will be provid- SOCIABLE, caring people who are interested in working with handicapped individuals are wanted to work on a one-to-one basis with children who have physical or mental disabilities, during parks and recreation activi- ty programs. Training and orientation will be provided and the hours are flexi- ble. EXPERIENCED calligraphers who own calligraphy pens are needed to inscribe 400 apprecia- tion certificates, which will even- tually be presented to volunteers. Volunteers can work from their homes and the hours are flexible for two weeks in June. DRIVERS with a Class 5 licence are wanted to transport athletes to various athletic events curing the Special Olympics. The hours are flexible. ENTHUSIASTIC outgoing people are needed to assist with the Dragon Boat Festival from Friday, June 19 to Sunday, June 21. Positions include cashiers, sales people, information assis- tants and drivers. The hours are flexible. Volunteers are expected to attend a Friday orientation ses- sion on June 5, 12 or 13.
