I's an easy mistake to make.
The aging Nahan patriarch bears

most tamous mumbling movie
gangster of all time taught down to
the casual gestures: Carmine takes
an instant liking to the tdm student
and oliers him one grand a week
to courier packages trom the air-
port to a mysterious upstate farm.

10 say. this is an amiable comedy
teaturing one of Brando's gentlest
and most whimsical roles. He per-

grace as he exhibits when ice
skating in one playiul scene.

It’s not just a showcase for
Brando, however, The tilm is
stocked with a host of well-written
bizarre characters. Clark's faculty
advisor is more nut than movie
nut, mouthing dialogue to The
Godtather Part U while showing it
to his tilm class. Clark's lawyer
stepiather is an animal activist The
Friends of Mammals! who protects
jourlegeed critters by shooting at
two-leesed ones.

temperamental Teutonic and Ber
