attend its creative one-day
workshops.

On Saturday, April 22 from 10
a.m. to I p.m. the centre is offer-
ing a Young Scientists workshop
for children ages eight to 10 years.

Participants will explore the
world of physics and chemistry by
conducting experiments and build-
ing projects such as an electric
motor and crystal radio. Each par-
ticipant will take home a com-
pleted project. The cost of this
workshop is $38.

Children ages six to 12 years can
surprise mom this year with a box

the same time. Mother’s Day
Chocolate Making takes place
Thursday, May 11 from 3:30 to 5
p.m. and costs $8.

On Monday, May 29 from 3:30
to 5 p.m., children ages six to 12
years can learn the tricks of mak-
ing old-fashioned ice cream as well
as other ice cream concoctions.
