and Volunteer Centre has received
Many requests for volunteers from
various non-profit agencies across
the North Shore. The following
examples are just a sample:

INSTRUCTOR’S AIDE for sew-
ing classes.held Monday mornings
-and/or. afternoons-at a senior cen-
tre. Volunteer should be familiar
with commercial patterns. Good
opportunity to work with a quali-
fied instructer.

MARKETING PERSON to orga-
nize a gift shop for an ecological
centre. Organize displays, order
appropriate items and research gift
‘items from around the world con-
nected with the ecology. Times to

be arranged at volunteer’s conve-
nience.

LIBRARY RESEARCHER needed
for a West Vancouver non-profit
society. Hours to be arranged be-
tween volunteer and society.
CLERICAL volunteer needed to
do some typing, filing and general
office work for a local arts group.
Afternoons only. They are also in
need of someone to keep a book
On articles from newspapers, mag~
azines, etc. connected with the axt
