No ordinary cruise ship, this!

The treatuse, dear readers,
is about a cruise ship which
cost $110 million and didn’t
earn a dime for two years
while growing up. Now it is
able to boast a 102 per cent
occupancy and is taking the
North American’ vacation
market by storm.

“The Tropicale” is no
ordinary cruise ship. Its
owners, Carnival Cruise

cruise line anywhere by re-
furbishing three other
passenger ships for the
cruise market, all but

city, fresh from a successful
shakedown summer sailing
out of Vancouver to Alaska,
is performing in seven-day
steps out of Los Angeles
through the warm waters of
the Mexican Riviera. Cruise
