have created a bright, airy
decor — enhanced by
countless lush green plants
that contrast tastefully with

I started the evening’s din-
ing by ordering the escargot
while my companion had the
salade mimosa. The escargot
were extremely tender and
soaked in a not too heavily
laden garlic sauce. The butter
lettuce salad was topped with
an assortment of vegetables
and a light creamy dressing
which was very tasty.

selected the fresh Dungeness
Crab which was served in its
total shell. It was surrounded
by a healthy portion of broc-
coli, zucchini and potatoes.
My companion ordered the
Filet of Veal Oscar with crab
meat, asparagus and bernaise
sauce.

Both meals were excellent
but this is not surprising as
Gerard does most of the
cooking himself.

After dinner we shared a
fresh fruit dessert that was
