Caps appeared as though
they were out to physically
intimidate and chop down
anyone who came within
their area. Young Mark
Peterson, the rookie

Sounders, was one of the
targets and the young man's
lack of experience with this
type of play left him hitting
the ground more than a
stuntman in an old cowboy
and indian movie.

Roger Davis, the smooth,
central striker, who is one of
the more skillful players in
the league was also subject
to some rather surprising
fouling.

overtime periods, the Caps
offense looked as though it
was going to start clicking
for the first time this season,
only. to see Victoria native
Ian Bridge and his fellow
central back Bruce Rioch, a

Saturday night the
powerful Minnesota Kicks
will be the visitors at Empire
Stadium. Caps need a
positive win if they are
hoping to keep up the
confidence required of a
championship team.
