using science to prove
view of ‘extreme bias’

[t's not enough that
homosexual community is above
criticism. They have now managed
to get the scientific community to
cave in to their pressure.

In the July issue of Time mag-
azine, scientists are saying they
~may have found the gene that
causes this alternative lifestyle.

It’also said that until: 1974 the
American ‘Psychiatric’ Association
said homosexuality was a mental
disorder.

And. how does the homosexual
see_ it?’ They-don’t view it as a

i theice or a disease but an identity.
In-a debate with a friend of

ing: it will cause their death, you
can be tried for murder.

But a homosexual can pass on
the virus that has killed thousands
and they get away with it.

How far are the homosexuals
going to be allowed to push this
hideous crime on our society be-
fore someone stands up and says
it’s wrong?

And shame on every gutless
politician who doesn’t openly
speak out against this.

n October 25th the voters of North

Vancouver and throughout Canada will have
an opportunity to vote for change and a new
approach to the future. It is, in my opinion, not
only a privilege but a responsibility we all
share. You can’t influence the future or help make
the changes necessary unless you participate.

T encourage every voter to become involved,
to study the issues and the plans of the icaders
and the candidates, to become more informed and
to make a thoughtful decision on election day.

1 believe that changes ‘must take place in the
way government operates, its: priorities, how. it
responds and how it represents the wishes and
the needs of its constituents. It’s these issue that
finally. convinced me to get involved. It is the
leadership.and the plans of Kim Campbell that
proved real change would take place and that a
new generation of leadership would change the
way government and bureaucracy works.

his election is about the future, not the past;

it’s about what will be, not what should have
been; it’s about a new generation of leadership
and a new vision, not yesterdays politicians, poli-
cies or personalities.

The clection is about real change and how
to bring it about to ensure the most good for the
greatest. numbers of people and how to-be sure
the local issues in North Vancouver are heard in
Ottawa. It’s about who can best create an eco-
nomic environment that creates jobs in the new
wortd economy, while protecting the quality of
life in.our local neighbouhood and the social serv-
ices we hold so dear.

I’ve been frustrated in the past too, but I’m as
committed to change as you are. | believe that
under the leadership of Kim Campbell things will
change, really change, and like you I’ve already
seen examples of her commitment to change.

I think the real question voters are going to
ask themselves in the poiling booth on October
25th is “Who can I trust to make the changes I
would make if I was the member in Ottawa?”
