Czechoslovakia in 1957 passed away
neacefully on October 28, 1993 alter a
long and courageous batile with cancer.
She will be sadly missed by her parents
George and Helena, her sister Lida and
husband Paul. A mass. will be held on
Monday, November } af 1] a.m. in St.
Edmund's Parish, 545 Mahon Avenue,
North Vancouver. Donations to the Ca-
nadian Cancer Society or Lions Gate
Hospital would be appreciated.

GEE - Eric Alexander, passed away
peacefully in Léons Gate Hospital on Oc-
tober 28, 1993 at the age of 88 years.
The loss of a foving husbend will be felt
most keenly by his wife Cay and he will
be sadly missed by his edapted grand-
children, nieces; nephews, [tiends and
former colleagues. He trained first as a
cabinet maker and later became an out-
standing teacher in Industrial Educa-
tion. He taught in Vancouver, Lytton,
Prince Rupert and principally in North
Vancouver. He helped art encouraged
his students to strive for quality anu ex-
cellence in thei work. Music and wood-
carving were fis favourite hobbies.
Funeral Service will bs held a: 2-00pim
on Wednesday, November 3, 1993 at St
James Church, 303 East Cordova Street,
Vancouver, B.C. No flowers hy request.
Contributions in Eric's menicty, to 4

SALMON - Oriel Zeba born February 3,
1921 in Princeton, B.C., died in Lions
Gate Hospital in the early morming of
Octeber 27, 1993, after a lengthy ill-
ness. She is survived by her former hus-
band, Paul Cook; her daughter Vicky
Cook, her children Blake Murphy (his
son Kyte), Brent Murphy (wife Linda),
their children Zachary and Celeste,
Paget Murphy; her son Blake Cook, his
wife Arlene and their son Michael;
another daughter Gwen Murray, her
husband Dan, their children Meredith
and Alexander; her brother Fred Allen;
sisters Gwen Roos and Ardeth
Knoblauch who live in the Okanagan
Valley; her sister-in-law Jozn Allen of
Trail and her Aunt Florence Yandle of
Surrey. She also leaves behind many
fond and cating friends. Oriel will be
remembered for her humour, beauty and
talent as an artist. Services will be held
at the North Shore Unitarian Church,
370 Mathers Avenue, West Vancouver,
on Munday Noveniber 1, 1993 at 2:00
p.m. No flowers please. Remembrances
in het honour may be made to the North
Shore Unitarian Church or the Palliative
Care Unit of Lions Gate Hospital.
