getting a well-deserved promotion.

He was appointed vice-president
and group manager of the com-
pany! The fact that they are rush-
ed off their feet with business and
and thac they set an alltime high
record for income in August
probably helped!...

Hotels and Resorts as vice-presi-
dent, western region, with respon-
sibility extending from Singapore
to Saskatoon. In actual fact, it’s

even further, from Winnipeg west.

He’s looking forward to returning
to Asia and exploring acquisition
opportunities there for Delta
Hotels.

couver properties, Delta’s River
Inn and the Airport Inn.

We chatted over afternoon tea
in the tranquil surroundings of
Allan Sacks’ opulent Delta Place
on Howe Street. He tells me that
the Airport Inn will have a
name-change shortly, very likely
to Delta Pacific Resort and Con-
ference Centre.
