open every day from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
Commercial and domestic waste disposal from municipal and private waste collec-
tion vehicles is only allowed from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. on Mondays through
, Fridays and from 8:00 A.M. to 12 Noon on Saturdays. The waste received on Satur-
day afternoons and on Sundays and holidays is delivered by municipal residents, and
. the vast majority of It Is garden and lawn cuttings, tree trimmings, tree trunks and other
’ wood wastes, together with an admixture of solid household waste, all of a non-
- putrescible nature. The volume of putrescible garbage Included in this is so small as to
be considered virtually negligible.
It Is proposed that. this. material not be covered until the next normal working day
‘following the Sunday or holiday as it does not decompose rapidly nor does it provide a
‘food source for birds or rodents. All of this material will be compacted and covered
during the first working day following disposal if this amendment Is approved.
