first took shape in April 1993

AIDS Vancouver Speaker's
Bureau. In this capacity, they offer

increase the boiling temperature of the. coolant,
lubricate the moving parts in the cooling system and
inhibit corrosion.

Over time, the various components of the
antifreeze break down. When this happens, corrosion
caused by the interaction of the many different types
of metals eats at the inside of your engine
defeating the lubricating value of the coolant. It also
reduces the flow throughout the radiator due to build
up of the corrosion material.

You should change your fluid once a year
and have the system flushed. Flushing the system
ensures that the deposits in the tiny passageways of
the radiator do not build up causing problems in hot
weather. In the long run, it’s certainly a lot cheaper
than replacing the radiator.
