Car owner Tony Wade says he likes the irony: of that, particularly ‘‘when you consider the great number of hit and run accidents and the fact that hardly any of the drivers get caught.”’ OOPS, PART TWO AS - Friday, September 28, 1984 - North Shore News coo “This guy left quite a call- ing. card,’” Wade.adds. :. According to Wade, who was notified of the accident by police at 8-a.m.Sunday, between $500 and $600 dam- age -was done to the parked car. ; Palice, aided by the iden- tification provided by the licence plate, are on the trail of the offender now. Wrong address A STARTLED North Vancouver resident arrived at his Capilano area home Wednesday to find he’d been robbed — of all the wooden siding on his home. ‘‘The siding appeared to have been removed in a pro- fessional manner,’’ says a spokesman for the~ North Vancouver RCMP, who ar- rived at the scene to begin investigating the ‘‘crime’’. It didn’t take long to determine that the siding had been removed by profes- sionals — a North Shore siding company that had made an error in a street ad- dress and show up to do work on the wrong house. ‘*[The company,’” say police, ‘‘intends to replace the siding.”’ Let’s take care of one anoth Omen *® SUBSTANTIAL SAVINGS ON REMAINING 1984 MODELS * 1984 DEMONSTRATION CARS NOW ON OFFER * ORDERS HAVE BEEN PLACED FOR 1985 MODELS * TEST DRIVE A SPECIALTY VOLVO TODAY 1235 Marine Dr. North Vancouver Sales, Service, parts, Leasing 4 : Mee tee 980-2464 ?
