Three North Shore boys
have won scholarships to the
Fletchers-Whitecaps soccer
camp at the _ British
Columbia Institute of
Technology in August.

The boys all play for the
Burdett Wolves, winners of

the Division 4 Centennial
title last season. They are
Philip Wonnacott, Nigel
Jones, and David Burke.

Ten scholarships, worth
$100 each, were awarded on
the Vancouver Show on
CKVU last Friday.

Make-up demo
by Buchman.

Westcoast. Actors is
sponsoring a unique lecture-
demonstration in stage

make-up on August 11 with
Herman Buchman, in-
ternationally .known make-
up artist.

Mr. Buchman will give
two lectures, the first,
“Classic Grecian”, covering
the basic essentials of stage
make-up. The = second
lecture demonstrates in
detail the techniques of age
make-up.

The lectures are being
offered for only $10.00. or
each session can be taken
individually for $5.00.

“Classic Grecian” is
scheduled from 11:00 to 1:00
and following a lunchbreak,
“Age Make-up” will run
from 2:30 to 4:30.

Herman Buchman is one
of the leading authorities on
stage make-up. He works on
Broadway and his. book.
STAGE MAKE-UP is
widely used. He also teaches
make-up at Julhard and the
Amnerican Academy of
Dramatic Art.
