available through Morth
Shore Community Services
(NSCS).

Front desk volunteers are
needed to welcome people to
the building and. directing
them to activities and services
in the centre.

“UNICEF collection peo-
ple are’ needed to wear the

coins from Sky Train passengers
during rush hours.

Pets and friends visiting
volunteer is needed to be a
regular visitor and to share
your pet with folks in a hospital
or care facility in your neigh-
borhood.

Walking/escort compan-
ion is needed to escort nwo dif
ferent residents (separately) on
short walks and outings to
shopping centre.

Computer instructor
assistant is needed to teach or
assist with basic computer
courses at a senior’s centre.
Program and worksheets for
the courses are prepared.

Courses consist of

introduction to Windows 95,
Microsoft Works, Internet use,
word processing.
