RIEFS Murder hearing A PRELIMINARY hearing began on Moniay, May 34, in connection with the death of a Filipino sailor and the robbery of his friend in North Vancouver on Qet. 24, 1991, Ryan Allan Sncob, 25, und Geosge Stephen Jacobs, 25, both of North Vancouver, are charged with the second-degree murder of Jovito Valdueva Beguna, 36. In addition, Jacob, Jacobs and a third man, Todd Christopher Moody, 22, also of North Vancouver, are charged with the robbery of Danilo Crisastomo, 35, Jacob, Jacobs, and Moody sat with five family members during the first day of five scheduted days slated for the preliminary hearing.
