May I suggest a look at the
past year from a starting
point of a win and loss record
of traditional foundational
freedoms of speech and
press. Bear in mind the op-
position who would destroy
freedom of press and speech.

THE NATIONAL
CITIZENS COALITION
stood up to sledge-hammer
legislation in the form of Bill
C-169 and freedom of speech
was preserved before this Bill
strangled it.

Doug Collins and North
Shore News fought back at
B.C. Press Council hearings
and won the victory for

freedom of the press. They
