UESTION: Does your bathroom exhaust fan give you a cold
shower on frosty mornings? This is how you can correct.

NSWER: Warm moist air moving through the
exhaust duct comes in contact with the cold

metal duct pipe condensing before it gets to the roof

top vent and running back into the room. Stop this by
wrapping a batt of fibreglass insulation around the
duct containing it with a wrap of polyethylenc held in
place by duct tape. This will allow the moist air to vent
to the outside before it is allowed to condense on a
cold surface. It’s that easy!
