cessiully Australian as its in-
novative Cabernet/Shiraz pairing.

The workhorse semillon, used
in Bordeaux to smooth the rough
edges off sauvignon blancs that
can turn thin and corrosive, here
performs a similar service for a
chardonnay that would likely be
short and sharp on its own, The
result is a distinct cut above
those litres of industrial strength
dry white wine at a very afford-
able price.

tough and chewy as a young
Medoc.

Abundant, complex fruit,
backed by plenty of strength of
character for the tong run.

Drink, by all means, but tuck
