Paradis in North Vancouver provincial court on April 26: Arthur Gerald Brown was plac- ed on probation for seven months and. ordered to pay $599.75 in restitution after the 28-year-old North Vancouver man was found guilty of theft in connection with a Feb. 15 incident at a ‘West Sth Street townhouse. Before Judge J.D. Layton in North Vancouver provincial court on April 21: Jason Andrew Carthy received a conditional discharge and was placed on probation for six months after the 19-year-old West Van- couver man pleaded guilty to mischief in connection with a Nov. 18, 1988 incident in which a win- dow was broken at the West Van- couver School Board offices. He was also ordered to perform 25 hours of community work ser- vice within three months. eee Harold James Clare was fined $250 after the 43-year-old North Vancouver man pleaded guilty to failing to remain at the scene of a March 4 accident’ in which the vehicle he was driving hit an unat- tended vehicle. e Joyce Nancy Parkin-Burk was fined $1,000 and had her driver’s licence suspended for one year after the 33-year-old North Van- couver woman pleaded guilty to driving without consideration for others in connection with a Dec. 11, 1988 incident. eee Andrew Whilhelm Scheer was fined $250 after the 20-year-old North Vancouver man pleaded guilty to failing to notify the owner of property damaged after he was involved in an accident on Skyline Drive in which bushes and trees were damaged. He also had his driver’s licence suspended for three months. Before Judge R.D. Grandison in West Vancouver provincial court on April 24: Roberta Margare Toldy was fin- ed $100 and placed on probation for four months after the 21- year-old New Westminster woman pleaded guilty to theft under $1,000 in connection with incidents alleged to have occurred between Jan. 1, 1988 and April 30, 1988 in which money and merchandise were stolen from a West Van- couver business. duc was also ordered to pay $137.80 in compensation to the victim.
